Medior Information Security Officer

About the RoleFor a growing commercial organisation, we are looking for a Medior Information Security Officer (ISO) who will work closely under the CISO. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening and maturing the organisation's information security framework.Your primary focus will be on improving the ISMS and helping the organisation move towards a higher level of security maturity.Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Drive initiatives to increase security maturity across the organisation
• Assist in aligning processes with ISO 27001 standards
• Identify gaps and support the implementation of security controls
• Conduct risk assessments and track remediation actions
• Support internal and external audits (ISO 27001)
• Work closely with the CISO on strategic security improvements
• Engage with IT and business stakeholders to embed security in daily operationsYour Profile
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, IT risk, or compliance
• Hands-on experience with ISMS and ISO 27001 (required)
• Understanding of security maturity models and continuous improvement
• Experience supporting audits and implementing controls
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• Proactive, structured, and eager to develop further
• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
