About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to build and maintain a developer-centric Platform as a Service (PaaS). Working closely with the Solution Architect and Enterprise Architects, you will develop a robust infrastructure supporting automation workflows, DevOps tools, and cloud platforms. Your goal is to create a highly efficient environment, enabling developers to focus on building software rather than managing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement a scalable Platform as a Service (PaaS) for development teams.
* Support the migration to GitHub Actions and enhance CI/CD workflows.
* Automate and manage infrastructure using Terraform across AWS, Azure, and other clouds.
* Work closely with multiple developer teams (15-20 people) to optimize platform usability.
* Ensure alignment with local and international IT teams under the SOS Digital Platform strategy.
* Act as a point of contact for outsourced support teams in India, ensuring seamless integration.
* Implement the latest DevOps tools and best practices to enhance platform flexibility.

Your Profile

* Hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
* Strong expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS, and Azure.
* Proven ability to design and operate scalable developer platforms.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver projects from start to finish.
* Knowledge of industrial automation is a plus.
