Physical Security Specialist – Genetec Security Center

For a valued client of Tergos in Utrecht, I am looking for a Physical Security Specialist with strong hands-on technical knowledge of Genetec Security Center.This role is fully operational and focused on the technical management, configuration and optimization of the physical access control environment. The systems are already in place and running, but additional capacity is needed to ensure everything is technically well configured, stable and properly prepared for upcoming audits.Key responsibilities

• Technical management and configuration of Genetec Security Center
• Setting up, maintaining and optimizing physical access control systems
• Managing authorizations, roles, profiles and access rights within Genetec
• Managing and monitoring integrations with card management systems, especially OCMS from ID-Ware
• Ensuring all technical settings, configurations and logging are correctly implemented prior to an audit
• Monitoring data quality and consistency within the system
• Resolving technical incidents and system issues
• Working together with IT on server, network and integration topics
• Documenting technical configurations and changesRequired knowledge and experience
• Proven, hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center
• Experience with physical access control systems, badge and card management
• Knowledge of authorization models, logging, auditing and technical controls
• Experience preparing environments technically for audits
• Experience with integrations between security systems and IT platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and technical management skillsNice to have
• Experience with OCMS from ID-Ware
• Experience in enterprise environments with complex physical security setups
